Police Arrest Three Suspects Over Alleged Murder Of OOU Student
Three members of a local vigilante group have been arrested for allegedly killing a 400 level undergraduate student of the Olabisi Onabanjo University , Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.
Parading the suspects at the police state headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, the state commissioner of police, Bashir Makana said the 24-year-old student was killed by the suspects who also disposed his body inside a river.While giving directive for the arrest of other fleeing suspected members of the vigilance group, the commissioner said they would be arraigned in a competent court of justice to face the consequence of their action.
One of the suspects, a 55-year-old father of eight confessed to the crime and said he regrets his action.
