The Police Command in Kano State has apprehended three suspected Boko Haram members on Friday who are among the 87 people paraded for various offences.

This was disclosed by the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who said that one of the Boko Haram suspects was captured at a hotel in Sabon Gari and the remaining two were arrested in a hideout during a raid. He said the Boko Haram insurgents are planning to regroup in Kano, adding that two of the suspects confessed to be members of the dreaded terrorist group.

According to Iliyasu, one of the suspects arrested had a stopover in Kano while heading for Adamawa from Abuja.
