Police arrest murder suspect nine months after
Nine months after he allegedly conspired with others to kill a man, a murder suspect, Ibrahim Tafiyau has been arrested by operatives of the Niger state Police Command.
It was said that one Abdullahi Mohammadu on November 11, 2018 Ahmadu Abdullahi, reported to the police that his son Abdullahi Mohammadu left home on his Bajaj motorcycle and was attacked by armed men along Izom-Suleja road and his motorbike snatched.The police on December 5, 2018, arrested one Babangida Shaibu who was in possession of the said motorcycle and was charged to court.
He said: “I thought that the case is over. Frankly speaking, I thought that this matter has died down since 2018; I do not even know that Police were still dragging the matter. I never knew that police was trailing me until I was arrested.
