Police arrest 9 Okada riders over alleged attempt to burn police station in Lagos
No fewer than 19 men have been arrested for attempting to burn the Ejigbo Police station.
Reports stated that the group, notably Hausas hurled missiles at the station trying to bring it down which resulted to the damage of some vehicles. He added that the police repelled the irate youths by firing teargas canisters at the mob and that nobody was shot. “The police did not shoot at any of them; they only fired tear gas canisters to disperse them. The police arrested 19 of them over attempts to burn down the station.
