Police arrest 24 suspected criminals in Kaduna

The Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday said it arrested 24 suspected criminals, and recovered eight guns and live ammunition.

Abdurrahaman said the arrest followed a special operation by the command to rid the state of criminals.He explained that other suspects were arrested over criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, receiving stolen property, car snatching, house breaking, theft, illegal possession of firearms, thuggery, among others.

Other items recovered were five Toyota cars, 10 laptop, a Galaxy Tap, one Samsung duo handsets, one new wrapper, a wristwatch, sword, a long sickle, drum and one cutlass. According to him, the suspects have made useful statements and would be charged to court on completion of investigations.
