Katsina State Police Command says it recorded 128 major crime cases in February 2025. The command noted that within the period under review, 144 suspects were arrested in connection with the reported crimes, which include armed robbery, culpable homicide, kidnapping and rape, among others.

“Within the period under review, a total number of 144 suspects were arrested in connection with 128 reported major crimes, including armed robbery, culpable homicide, kidnapping, and rape, among others,” he said. “Four locally made guns, 13 pump action cartridges, and five motorcycles were recovered within the period under review as exhibits,” he added.
He expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Katsina State Government under the leadership of Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, members of the press and other stakeholders for their support.
