The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force are investigating an incident where a mattress caught fire at Block 174 Yishun Avenue 7 on Friday .alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the damage the fire had caused near a lift lobby on the 12th floor of the HDB block.A bed frame that appeared to have been burnt by the fire was seen placed at the foot of the block.SCDF said it was alerted to the fire at about 5pm."The fire burnt itself out prior to SCDF's arrival.
