According to Pogba, he admires the likes of Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos, Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti, and Liverpool’s Thiago Alcantara.
In a conversation with Wahed on the Muslim Money Guys podcast, the France international picked the aforementioned midfielders for their versatility. Pogba said : “Toni Kroos, Marco Verratti, Thiago Alcantara, because they are not holding midfielders and they are not No 10.Meanwhile, Pogba won’t be at the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to a meniscus injury.Pogba had to undergo surgery and has not recovered in time for the World Cup in Qatar.
Ironically, the three players Pogba picked as the best midfielders will also not be at the World Cup.
