The women’s campaign team of the All Progressives Congress has donated relief materials to flood victims in Yobe state.Oluremi, wife of Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress , and other members of the team were received by Mai Bala Buni, governor of Yobe, at the government house.She said the N20 million will assist 400 victims with N50,000 each to “enable them to recapitalise the small-scale businesses which they were engaged in before the flooding occurred”.
The team also presented the relief materials sent by Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari.AdvertisementThe 2022 flooding is said to be the worst in decades, and over 600 deaths have been recorded, while millions of persons have been displaced.in the country with Benue, Kogi, Bayelsa, Delta, Anambra, and Kano being the worst-hit.
