“Our idea is to ensure that these things, even if we are going to lose them, we have a record of them, and that is why we have a project on them. Speaking on the exhibition, Mohamad Khechen, founder of the Moeshen art gallery, said he has spent over 23 years in Nigeria collecting art works. “I love being in the company of artists. Art gives me some disconnection from my main work. I’m an engineer by profession. Most of my friends in Nigeria are artists,” Khechen said.
