President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, received an award from the Abu Dhabi Peace Forum for his role in “strengthening peace in Africa”.was founded
in Abu Dhabi in 2015 and is “dedicated to strengthening Islamic narratives of peace building and tolerance in a world of religious pluralism”. Present at the event were Mohamed Ghazouani, president of Mauritania; Abdallah Bin Bayyah, president of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies; and Al Mahfoudh Bin Bayyah, secretary-general of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Promoting Peace.
