Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , has arrived in the United States .
The former vice-president arrived in Washington D.C on Thursday night for a visit that is part of his political campaign. Atiku travelled to the US alongside Aminu Tambuwal, Sokoto governor and director-general of the PDP presidential campaign, as well as Emeka Ihedioha, former Imo state governor, and Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications.
He was welcomed by former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Dino Melaye, a former Kogi senator, among others.While in the US, the PDP presidential candidate would meet with the US Chamber of Commerce’s US-Africa Business Center .The PDP has also shared an invitation letter from the USAfBC inviting Atiku for a bilateral meeting.
