The former TV host has a new drastic look
Phillip Schofield has confirmed his return to TV with a drastic new look. The 62-year-old will be back on our screens in a new programme for Channel 5 called Cast Away. The dad will tell his “story of survival, both on a desert island and off it”. The news comes months after the presenter quit his role at This Morning in May last year after admitting to an affair with a younger man while working on the show.
It is thought that Schofield has been secretly filming the show, in which he will discuss the past two years of his life in detail. Pictures from the trailer have Schofield miles away from the typical shirt and trousers This Morning fans had seen him in for over two decades. The photos show Schofield looking dishevelled as he walks along a beach on the island. He confirmed the programme this morning, Wednesday, September 25 to his 2.7m Instagram followers.
