The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Mr Peter Obi, has lamented the persistent incidents of killings, kidnappings and other violent crimes across the country.
In a post via his X handle, Obi lamented the killing of some crew members of Supersports TV as well as a policeman, who were attacked in a tragic ambush along the Ihiala-Orlu Road, Anambra State, a few days ago.
had reported that the deceased were travelling to cover the Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifiers against Libya. The former Anambra State governor, who said that the situation has continued unabated and is worse by the day, stressed that non-state actors have continued to inflict pain and sorrow on families whose loved ones are often kidnapped and sometimes killed in gruesome manners.
