The alleged ploy to postpone the May 29 handover date from President Muhammadu Buhari to the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has drawn the ire of retirees
The senior citizens acknowledged that all must be done to prevent a needless constitutional crisis in the country while warning those behind the interim government’s action to bury such plotting.
However, the pensioners demanded of Tinubu that he develop plans to raise retirees’ living standards, as departing President Muhammadu Buhari has done for the past eight years.
