The protest was, however, extended to PDP secretariat and the residence of the party’s flag bearer in the election, Alhaji Umar Nasko. Recall that the results declared by INEC had shown Governor Abubakar Bello of APC polling 526,412 votes as against Nasko, who pulled 298,065 votes. “There are indications that voters were bought over with cash, wrappers among others and worst is the fact that our supporters were openly intimidated and tortured on the election day.”
