PDP, SDP speak on Jigawa LG election, as APC yet to decide on primaries
They said they will fully participate in the coming local government election scheduled to take place on 29 June, 2019.
Alhaji Salisu Mamuda Kuit, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said although court is yet to give its judgment on the last local government election, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is ready to fully participate in the scheduled election. Commenting on the election also the chairman of the Social Democratic party, SDP, Abba Anas Adamu said the process of last 2016 local government election was characterized by election misconduct.
He noted that SDP will fully participate in the election and will do everything possible to protect people’s mandate.
