The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for Abeokuta South Constituency I in Ogun State, Solomon Enilolobo, has dumped his ambition and declared support for the second term bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun ; elder statesman and former governor, Olusegun Osoba and the All Progressives Congress House of Assembly candidate, Damilola Soneye, during a campaign rally at Ibafo in Obafemi-Owode Local Council of the state… yesterday.
Enilolobo announced his stepping down from the election scheduled for Saturday when he led his supporters to Iperu-Remo residence of the governor to decamp to the ruling All Progressives Congress .RELATEDLY, a former Chairman of the PDP Arewa Solidarity Forum, Shuaib Ganga and scores of supporters from Sagamu Local Council of the state have defected to the APC.
Chukwuleta said that the Igbo youths were proud of the achievements of the governor in the last three and half years, adding that they would give 100 per cent support to the governor. Abiodun, in his response, commended the Arewa Solidarity Forum and the Eze Ndigbo youths of Ogun State for coming forward to show their support for his second term ambition, saying that he was humbled by their support and endorsement.
