The Peoples Democratic Party in Kebbi has called for an urgent investigation into the shoddy execution of the multi-billion naira Yauri township roads project.
Bawa-Kalgo expressed deep disappointment over the project's state, stating, “PDP is appalled by the shoddy execution of the ongoing multi-billion naira Yauri township roads project; it’s most unfortunate and extremely distasteful.” The party has demanded that the State Ministry of Works take full responsibility for this apparent contractual breach and act swiftly to rectify the situation.
He called on Governor Nasir Idris to take decisive action against any officials found negligent in their duties, warning that accountability is essential to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
