He called on residents to be cautious of stray dogs around them and to report any dog bite incident to the nearest clinic.

Dr Khalifa Aliyu, Chairman of the Kaduna State Residents Veterinary Doctors Association has called on residents of the state to take precautions, according to a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday. Aliyu lamented the suspected case of human rabies in a teenage boy who is at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna, northwest Nigeria.
