Pastor PeteRock Sadiq, Resident Pastor of House on the Rock Minna, was awarded the Platinum Leadership Award by the Northern Council of Nigeria for his outstanding contributions to leadership and youth empowerment in the region.
The Northern Council of Nigeria, an organization pioneered by the late Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sadauna of Sokoto, has conferred the prestigious Platinum Leadership Award on Pastor PeteRock Sadiq, Resident Pastor of House on the Rock Minna. The award ceremony took place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Minna, Niger State. Comrade Ambassador Stephen Bidemi, who led the Executive members of the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria, presented the award to Pastor Sadiq.
In his presentation, Comrade Ambassador Stephen Bidemi praised Pastor Sadiq's leadership and ministry, saying, 'Pastor PeteRock Sadiq is the future in the present, a very colorful individual and one of the most noticeable representatives of our generation.' ' They (youths) recognize him as a mentor, a model and a personality with unique qualities, that his unique style of leadership has given them hope as leaders of tomorrow, 'he stated. Pastor PeteRock Sadiq, in his acceptance speech, emphasized the importance of teamwork and leadership. He noted that no one achieves success alone and that the reward for a good job well done is more work. On the issue of banditry and vandalism in Northern Nigeria, Pastor PetrockSadiq said, 'The presence of more leaders, teachers, and mentors will aid in the redirection of the strength of these youths; channeling it to better opportunities and in turn bringing about development to the State and Nation.' He further emphasized the need for collective efforts in addressing the challenges facing Northern Nigeria, saying, 'Anyone who walks alone is merely taking a stroll, but every leader has a great team behind him.' The award ceremony was attended by dignitaries from across the region.
