The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and other notable stakeholders within the opposition All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State have come to the rescue of members of
the party and other vulnerable persons who complained of being sidelined in the distribution of COVID-19 palliatives.
The APC had accused the Peoples Democratic Party-led administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of discriminating against the APC and its members in the state in the distribution of the palliatives meant to cushion the harsh economic effect occasioned by the lockdown imposed to stop the spread of coronavirus.
But while Fintiri said the palliatives it received from the Federal Government had been distributed without bias, the APC in the state argued that its members never benefited because the PDP in the state deliberatedly sidelined them in the distribution. Adamawa APC Chairman, Ibrahim Bilal, who spoke in Yoga North Local Government Area on Thursday, at the end of the distribution of food items to members of the party and other vulnerable groups said many influential members of the party, after learning of the development.”All rights reserved.
