Ayon sa DepEd, marami man ang mga teacher at estudyante ang may mga cellphone, hindi naman lahat ay may Internet. "Si Secretary [Martin] Andanar nag-offer ng tulong para magamit ang govt tv stations and radio," ani Educational Secretary Leonor Briones. “Lahat po ng private companies na media ay pupuwedeng i-tap po and if ABS-CBN can come back on the air, I’m sure as a way of showing the commitment to the Filipino people, that they will allow their broadcast to be used for educational purposes,” ani Briones.
