The sentence imposed Friday by county Judge Charles H. Saylor on Todd J. Hoy, 53, of Northumberland, included restitution of $3,690. That is the amount of the loss attributed to him.His estranged wife, Melissa Lee Hoy, 54, is charged with theft, conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property. She is scheduled for plea court in August.
An audit determined between August 2013 and June 2016 that cash was received back from 72 of the 80 deposits of Snook’s checks. Major alleged misappropriations listed in the arrest affidavit included $26,116 in cash withdrawals, $47,722 in credit card bills, $6,253 for clothing and $4,008 for shopping.
