A 27-year-old trader, Omolabake Bello, who was diagnosed with kidney failure, has sought the help of Nigerians to raise N15m for a transplant.
Her husband, Ogunronbi Akinola, stated that the family had come to its wit’s end in managing her treatment.
The doctor in charge of her treatment, who asked to be identified only as Dr Augustine, confirmed her condition. “Her kidneys cannot clear the impurities on their own; they’re doing next to nothing; she needs the dialysis but the best alternative is the kidney transplant.”
