Oyo: Police arrest 18 suspects for electoral offences
Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, while speaking with journalists, explained that the suspects, who were being held at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department , were arrested at various polling units during the elections.
Fadeyi maintained that all the suspects would face criminal prosecution after conclusion of investigations. He further disclosed that the suspects would soon be transferred to Abuja for further investigation in line with the directives from the Inspector General of Police before prosecution.
