The gubernatorial candidate of the Alliance for Democracy , in the 2019 general elections in Oyo state, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao, on Monday urged the Oyo State House of Assembly to immediately investigate a job racketeering allegation levelled against the son of Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs. Amidat Agboola.

But, Alao while reacting, urged the state House of Assembly to investigate the allegations and other sordid deals in the state since the inauguration of Governor Seyi Makinde, for the sake of accountability, honesty and transparency in governance and in the best interest of the people of the state. Alao alleged that the Makinde led government introduced a park management system which is to raise the internally generated revenue of the state but regrettably there have been reports of poor management, under remittance of revenue from the parks and assaults on the public by the park managers.

“Since we all have been hit and battling with the dreaded Coronavirus , a lot of issues like the remittance of the park management revenue, illegal revenue collection by a personal aide of Governor Seyi Makinde, cost of construction of the modern bus stations by his administration, and latest of all, the alleged job racketeering said to be going on under this administration need to be investigated and clarified.
