Oyo State House of Assembly has announced the sack of the Chairman of Irepo Local Government, Mr. Lateef Sulaiman Adediran.The lawmakers made these disclosures during their plenary on Thursday in Ibadan, the state capital.
The Assembly added that the committee investigated allegations of running the local government with impunity levelled against the embattled Chairman. The lawmakers then directed the Vice Chairman of the council to immediately assume the position of acting Chairman. The lawmakers said, “The report found the local government Chairman culpable of allegations of diversion of public funds meant for the purchase of Toyota Camry 2016 model.
