Oyo arrests 8 illegal business operators on school premises
DAILY POST gathered that the recently completed Model school under the FGN-UBEC/OYO SUBEB intervention project is situated at Agbopa-Akufo farm settlement in Ido Local Government Area of the state.
Adeniran while speaking noted that the arrest follows an enforcement and monitoring exercise conducted by SUBEB, aimed at protecting public school facilities and infrastructure during the COVID-19 stay-at-home period for pupils. Adeniran said, “In fact, they have turned one of our classrooms into a bedroom, with their personal belongings scattered around the school.
”They forcefully break in, destroy government property and create nuisance on government schools across the state”.
