The baton of the 13th “Hope President”, Rotary Club of Abule-Egba Metropolitan for 2023-2024 Rotary year has been passed to Raphael Oyebamijo at an event that took place in Lagos.
Oyebamijo promised to carry out projects in the Rotary International seven areas of focus, putting smiles on the faces of members of his community despite the economic hardship in the country.
“we really want to embark on membership drive by ensuring we add not less than fifteen new members to the existing number this Rotary year to execute more projects. The Chairman, Installation Committee, Yomi Aderibigbe called for partnership with the club with a view to carrying out its numerous projects.
As Muslims celebrate this year’s Eid-el –Fitr, marking the end of the Ramadan fast, the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Gabriel Dewan, has emphasised the need to sustain prayers and other good virtues exhibited during the holy month to build an egalitarian society.
