The Nigerian government has evacuated 542 stranded Nigerians who are stranded in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The Head of the Press Unit of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Manzo Ezekiel, on Friday announced their evacuation in an invitation preceding their arrival. Ezekiel said that the evacuees are expected to arrive at the Hajj Terminal of General Aviation Terminal (GAT) private wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, in Max Air on Saturday at about 7.30 am.

The Head of the Press Unit of the National Emergency Management Agency , Manzo Ezekiel, on Friday announced their evacuation in an invitation preceding their arrival. According to Ezekiel, the returnees were screened by the health officials, profiled by various relevant agencies and cleared by the Nigerian Immigration Service before being given a token of transport fare by NEMA.
