•IOM, Live Abundantly raise awareness on irregular migration, others
This was disclosed at a walk organised by a non-governmental organisation, Live Abundantly, which teamed up with NAPTIP and the International Organisation for Migration to raise awareness about the plight and consequences of human trafficking and irregular migration. The Founder of Live Abundantly, Dr Ama Onyerinma, said the road walk was in accordance with the organisation’s goal of investing in communities for the promotion of positive changes to enhance the lives of women and children.
Speaking at the event on the theme ‘Victims’ voices lead the way,’ the Commandant, NAPTIP, Lagos Zonal Command, Mr Ganiu Alao, said the rights of the victims or survivors of human trafficking must be protected.
