Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has nominated transition council chairmen and their deputies for the 17 local government areas of the state.This is contained in a Tuesday statement by the Abia State Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Uzor Nwachukwu.Deputy- Barr. Young Ngwaziem.

“The List of the above-mentioned persons has been transmitted to the State House of Assembly by His Excellency, Dr. Alex C. Otti OFR, Executive Governor, Abia State; for Screening and Confirmation as required by Law,” the statement added.
