Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has stated that his administration will continue to provide support for the military, as well as for war veterans and their families, in recognition of their service to the country.
Adeleke gave the assurance at the launch of the emblem for the year 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day held at the Osun Government Secretariat, Abere, on Thursday.
The governor said the stability of the country rests on the gallantry, patriotism, and sacrifice of the security and military services. According to him, service personnel of the Armed Forces were in many volatile areas of the country, confronting and curtailing open and subtle threats to the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
