The leadership of Traditional Religion Worshippers Association in Osun State on Wednesday warned that the owner of Esubiyi Masquerader, Chief Kayode Esuleke, should not be framed for murder regarding attack on Kamorudeen Mosque, Osogbo.Esuleke is currently being held by the policemen attached to Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team in connection with the alleged attack on the mosque by the followers of the masquerader.
Also, Ifashola, son of Esuleke, and the Imam of Kamorudeen Society, Quosim Yunus, as well five other people were arraigned before an Osogbo Chief Magistrates’ Court for offences bordering on vandalisation of mosque to assault. Atanda said, “The office of Attorney General must be upright and consistent with their charges and actions. We must desist from making a mockery of the court system.
“There must be a stop to this repeated attack by Alfa Kassim Yinusa and his agents. Baba Esuleke and his family should not be framed for murder committed by an unknown assailant.”
