Justice Ayo Oyebiyi of the Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo has declined a prayer which sought to stop the Osun State Government from installing a
The oral prayer was tendered by the Odunolu Oluronbi and Oluyeyin royal families of Ifon.
DAILY POST gathered that the Oluyeyin and Odunolu royal families had approached the court and sought an injunction to restrain the state government from continuing the process of installation of the new Olufon of Ifon. Justice Oyebiyi while declining the order recalled granting several orders on the same subject matter.
“The absence of representatives of other interested parties in the matter in court is a major reason for declining the order,” he noted.
