The Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun has called on the state governor, Ademola Adeleke and the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA to step in and lend their support to the recovery and rebuilding efforts in Ekosin town.
DAILY POST gathered that there was a fire outbreak within Ekosin town located in Odo-Otin local government council area of the state, early Sunday morning. The fire gutted properties worth millions of Naira, reports said. Speaker Egbedun in a personally signed statement asked for monetary donations, and volunteer efforts from kind-hearted citizens of the state to show the people of Ekosin town that they were not alone.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time as you begin the process of rebuilding and recovering from this huge disaster. 'As a community, we must rally together to support those who have been affected by this tragedy. I know the people of Ekosin Town to be strong and resilient, but in this time of need, we must join hands to ease their burden.
