Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen prefers a move to either Manchester United or Real Madrid ahead of other top clubs seeking his talents in Europe,Former Napoli legend, Salvatore Bagni who was part of the Napoli side that won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia double in 1987, alongside Diego Maradona has said that he does not expect Osimhen to return to a country where he has already played and will accept nothing less than Champions League football.
“Victor Osimhen won’t return to France because he already played there. The same thing with Germany,” Bagni said. “He doesn’t go to Liverpool or Chelsea because they do not play the Champions League. Of all the teams associated with him, for me, he would only go to Manchester United and Real Madrid. He’s not interested in the other teams.”
Osimhen was linked with Bayern Munich, but started his senior career at Wolfsburg, while PSG’s hopes of nabbing the Nigerian may be hampered by the season the 24-year-old spent at Lille in 2019/2020 before joining Napoli, if Bagni’s prediction is to be believed.
