Striker Victor Osimhen is in line to make his return for Napoli in their Champions League group stage match against Eredivisie champions Ajax on Wednesday (today), PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The performances of his teammates in his absence might put some pressure on the Nigerian to impress once he gets into the game as he is expected to start from the bench.
“Sources close to the player assure us: Osimhen is fine and is already in 100 per cent form, and tomorrow he will be on the bench for the fourth round of the Champions League. “He knows well that he will have to work hard, his attacking colleagues are doing very well, but Victor remains a very important solution for Luciano Spalletti,” the statement from CalcioNapoli read.
According to Radio Marte, Giacomo Raspadori will lead the line at the start of the game, while Osimhen is expected to take over from the bench.
