Oshimohole manipulated primaries, truncated APC victory in South East – Osita Okechukwu

Okechukwu while speaking on the Platform a radio programme in Abia state berated the APC national chairman and claimed that Oshimohole-led leadership paved ways for massive manipulations of the 2018 APC primaries that led to the fortunes of the party dwindleing in the South East zone during the 2019 general elections.

Following the suit filed at a Federal Capital Territory, High Court, Justice Danladi Senchi had ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as National Chairman of the party pending the determination of the matter. But Osita explained that, “Without being immodest or without deprecating myself, I won the 2018 primaries of the Senate of Enugu west Senatorial district and I was rigged out.

“He contributed greatly to the current crisis in the party. He did so and nobody will exonerate him from that. There are two characteristics of leaders. There are leaders that pay attention to advices and there are those who do not. In our Igbo parlance, they will say “Eze onye agwalam”. The king that says nobody should tell me, I know everything. Oshimohole belonged to cadre of kings and it affected our fortunes”.
