The Benue State Government has offered a scholarship to a four-year-old boy, Eje Moses Alia Eloneje, from nursery to university level.
The child, who was abducted during a fracas between two communities, was released after Ortom issued a marching order to the Chairman of Konshisha Local Government and other stakeholders in the area to ensure his release. He stated that the only legacy to bequeath to a child is education, stressing that children are the future of the state and Nigeria at large and must be protected.
