Named ‘IoT West Africa’, the event is scheduled from July 4-6, 2023 at Landmark Centre, Lagos,
They said IoT West Africa Conference and Exhibition is a global platform aimed at driving excellence in the field of technology and encouraging developments in Nigeria. The event, according to the organisers, has been put in place to integrate businesses and help them expand their brand’s footprints across the globe, contributing to the tech ecosystem.
No fewer than 3,000 visitors and over 800 conference delegates will participate in the three-day event. They will engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions and round-table conferences and share ideas and insights into the evolving global scenario of the tech ecosystem. Commenting on the conference, the chief information technical officer of Nigeria, Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, said, “Embracing the IoT, West Africa pioneers a connected future where tradition meets innovation, thereby creating job opportunities, empowering communities, and forging a path to prosperity for the entire sub-region.”

Makinde sends seven Commissioners-nominee list to AssemblyBarring any last-minute change, Oyo Assembly will on Thursday read out a list of Commissioners-nominee to serve as members of the State Executive Council. The list, it was gathered was sent to the Assembly by Governor Seyi Makinde on Tuesday. As promised, the seven nominees sent so far to the lawmakers include some of those who worked with the governor in his first term. The Governor promised to return those who did well in the first term to continue in the service to the state. A source close to the Assembly confirmed the list was delivered on Tuesday evening after the plenary.
