The outgoing Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Mr Abdullahi Wuse has lamented the number of lawmakers reelected to the House, saying out of

Wuse made this disclosure during his valedictory speech and the dissolution of the 9th Assembly.

According to him, “this situation may not allow the legislative arm of government to grow as it is supposed to. The Speaker advised the incoming members to set a clause that would offer the leadership of the House, particularly the office of the speaker protection, to forstal unending impeachments, as well as afford the speaker opportunity for a fair hearing in situations where impeachment was unavoidable.
