A man is dead and another in hospital with life-threatening injuries after separate stabbings in Melbourne.
A man has died and another is in a serious condition after separate stabbings in Melbourne this evening.
Victoria Police said attempts to revive a man stabbed in Fawkner Park in South Yarra about 8:00pm were unsuccessful. The circumstances leading up to the fatal attack are yet to be determined and police are yet to formally identify the victim. Meanwhile, in the northern suburb of Reservoir, a man was stabbed on Romsey Street about 7:00pm by an unknown man in dark clothing who immediately fled the area.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a serious but stable condition.
