One died, seven ATBU students injured in Bauchi – Jos road crash
The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Bauchi Sector Command, Mr Rilwan Sulaiman told the press in Bauchi that the accident involved a commercial Vectra and Sharon on head-on collision, “The Vectra driver died at the spot”, according to him.
He explained that the Sharon that was conveying students of ATBU to Bauchi collided with the oncoming empty Vectra, leaving six students and their driver injured. “Our operatives swiftly moved to the scene to rescue the victim and the injured passengers,” he said. He also added that the corpse was deposited at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital.
