Residents of Ipogun community in the Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State have appealed to the state government to come to their aid following the destruction of their property by rainstorm.

“It was just too heavy as we could not take out anything from the shop because the downpour lasted for two hours and many houses were affected. We are begging Governor Akeredolu and other well-meaning Nigerians to assist us,” she added.Adewumi said, “It was like a drama when the heavy rain started yesterday . Before we knew what was happening, the roofs had been blown off and the rain entered the house.
