Ondo: N4.3bn withdrawal from ‘secret account’ followed due process – Commissioner

The Ondo State Government has declared that the withdrawal of the controversial N4.3billion by it followed due process.

The state House of Assembly on Thursday summoned the state Commissioner for Finance, Mr Wale Akinterinwa, and the state Accountant General, Mr Olaolu Akindolire, over the withdrawal of the money, which was allegedly kept in a secret account at the Zenith Bank for over 10 years.

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Account, Mr Edamisan Ademola, said the House was keenly interested in the interests accrued on the N4.3billion for over 10 years.
