Some medical workers in Ondo State have lamented the non-payment of their salaries by the state government since they were employed into the state’s civil service.

They were posted to different hospitals across the 18 local government areas of the state where they had served ever since.Some of the medical officers, who spoke with SaharaReporters, confirmed that since they had been issued employment letters, the office of the state’s Head of Service had refused to enrol them for salary payment.

The health personnel explained that they had written several letters to the government to ensure that they were put on the payroll without any luck. "All of us were posted to government hospitals in remote areas and we have not earned any penny despite being issued employment letters.
