The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last governorship election in Ondo State, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, has accepted the judgement of the Supreme Court
Jegede, who also congratulated the APC candidate on the victory, however, said his loss at the Apex court had not reduced his respect for the judiciary.
This was contained in a statement he personally issued after the judgement on Wednesday. The statement was titled ‘Ondo State, it is time to give glory to GOD’. The statement read, “Now that we have explored the grievance procedure permitted by the constitution and the law, it is time to give glory to God. We thank specially our legal team, under the leadership of Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu, for their commitment, industry and dedication to our cause. Over and above all, we thank them for their sacrifice.
