Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Zamfara, Kaduna and Nasarawa states have recorded 23 new cases as the country continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
As Ondo State said it recorded its fourth COVID-19 case on Saturday, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has blamed the police for the porosity of the state borders.
Also, Osun State Government says it has conducted fresh 167 coronavirus tests, out of which 12 returned positive. Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, said on Saturday evening that four new COVID-19 cases had been recorded in the state. Speaking in a state-wide broadcast, Matawalle advised the people of the state to take more proactive measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
